Re-roofing, done properly

A roof that keeps needing patching, has perished felt underneath or tiles that have lost their strength usually costs more to keep repairing than to replace. But a lot of roofs do not need replacing at all, and you should be told that honestly before anyone quotes for a new one.

When a roof does need replacing, we strip it back to the rafters, check and replace any timber that has rotted, lay a new breathable membrane and battens, and tile it with new tiles, ridges and hips. Lead flashings and valleys are renewed as part of the job, so the whole roof is finished to the same standard.
